This summer, we have had the privilege of watching some of the finest individual performances in recent memory in both the ODI and Test arenas. Mitchell Starc demolished India with career-best figures in Sydney, while Nathan Lyon stunned the cricket world with 7 wickets on a Day 5 Adelaide pitch to seal and emotion victory for Australia against India in the First Test. David Warner flayed bowlers to all parts of all stadiums while Mitchell Johnson reminded the world at the ‘Gabba why he is the most feared cricketer in the world.
With all this in mind, the summer belonged to Steve Smith. Australia’s 45th Test captain delivered the Border-Gavaskar Trophy back to its rightful home on Australian shores with a thrilling, record breaking display in the four-Test series while stamping his name on world cricket. With a World Cup around the corner, for the 25 year-old Smith, this summer he has the opportunity to make the leap from champion to legend.
Official Memorabilia, in conjunction with Cricket Australia, is pleased to give its members the opportunity to capture the magic of the 2014-15 Summer of Cricket with a range of truly unique, one-off pieces of memorabilia, items that would be befitting of the centrepiece of any cricket aficionado’s memorabilia collection. With just a single match-used stump and ball available from each international fixture this summer, BID NOW to secure your piece of genuine Baggy Green history!
